Brannan's Grill is a classic yet contemporary American restaurant located in downtown Calistoga in the heart of California's Wine Country. Owners Ron Goldin and Mark Young have created an airy, comfortable, light-filled space that is open daily from lunch through late night dining. We feature a refined yet approachable menu with a wine list that celebrates our great wine growing region that is served in a space as engaging as the fare.

The Calistoga Inn Restaurant hosts a popular outdoor dining patio stretching along the Napa River. Live jazz guitar is featured nightly during warm summer nights. A modern micro-brewery, home of the Napa Valley Brewing Company, occupies the historic water tower adjacent to the patio. The Inn itself has a rustic pub/bar reminiscent of the early days of Calistoga and a charming, antique-bedecked dining room. During the spring, summer and fall, the Calistoga Inn chefs cook over wood-fired grills and during winter the Calistoga Inn features American-style comfort food. The Inn is a great place to host large banquets.

"We happily landed in the quaint wine and spa town of Calistoga, enjoying the bounty of ingredients that the area has to offer." Matt and Sonjia use organic, locally farmed ingredients as much as possible. The wine list is eclectic and ever-evolving, consisting of many of the area's boutique producers. Cocktails focus on the classics, made with small batch, top shelf liquors.

Calistoga's own Japanese Sushi Cuisine in the heart of Napa Valley Wine Country. Conveniently located on Lincoln Ave. Come sample our authentic Japanese sushi, sashimi, bento meals and some of our Hawaiian influenced specialty sushi's, the Crazy Monkey and the Edward Roll.

Chateau Montelena's rich history began on a chilly fall morning when Alfred L. Tubbs spaded over and inspected the soil where he thought of planting estate vineyards. He had heard the Napa Valley was the best place to grow grapes in California. A deal was struck, and in January of 1882 the San Francisco entrepreneur owned 254 acres of rugged land just two miles north of Calistoga at the base of Mount Saint Helena. The soils are well drained, stony and loose - perfect for the vines he would plant.

The picnic tables sit under giant oak trees where you can savor the spectacular vineyard views and the surrounding hillsides.

The picnic tables are open to wine-buying visitors. Spend some time tasting gold-medal-winning wines, playing bocce ball, or relaxing with your picnic on a patio with scenic vistas of Mount St. Helena and the "Old Faithful" Geyser.

The wines produced at the Vincent Arroyo Winery have put a star on many Napa Valley maps as a place that shouldn’t be missed. His signature wine, still Petite Sirah, has become so popular that it often sells out before it is bottled every year. Once you have tasted the wines, you’ll know why. The winery also makes a Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, Zinfandel and several red blends.

Zinfandel is their forte. The vineyards are naturally farmed, and the century-old caves were hand-dug by Chinese laborers

25 year old Zinfandel plants grow on the property along with beautifully landscaped gardens. Picnic tables and beautiful rose gardens dominate the winery property.

Old Faithful is a cone geyser located in Wyoming, in Yellowstone National Park in the United States. Old Faithful was named in 1870 during the Washburn-Langford-Doane Expedition and was the first geyser in the park to receive a name.

A diamond in the rough, the Mount St. Helena Golf Course is located on the Napa County Fairgrounds in beautiful Calistoga, at the northern most end of the Napa Valley. The nine-hole, par 34 rating is attractive to golfers of all ages and skill levels. It's ideal for the novice or younger player due to its length, flat layout, and open architecture, yet is challenging to the more advanced player because of its narrow tree-lined fairways and smaller greens that demand accuracy.

Built in 1878, the winery's handsome hand-cut stone facade, with its graceful arched windows, is crafted entirely from lava stone and has walls that are two feet thick.

Bring lunch and enjoy a picnic in our Olive Grove. Tables are limited, reservations are recommended on weekends and for groups of 8 or more. The fee to reserve picnic tables is $5 per person.

Terra Restaurant in Napa Valley introduces new dining and drinking options For 2012, longtime Napa Valley favorite Terra Restaurant presents two distinct yet connected venues. The J. Davies Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from the historic hillside vineyards on the Schramsberg estate. Ranging from approximately 500 to 1,000 feet in elevation, these are the southernmost vineyards in the Diamond Mountain District AVA and are flanked by two cool creek canyons. Surrounded by dense coniferous and deciduous forests, the vines produce late-ripening, richly concentrated fruit with yields of only two tons per acre.

For many, the name Auberge du Soleil connotes cuisine first, with the inn of the same name a delightful afterthought. Alex Italian Restaurant offers dishes focused on the fundamentals of classic Italian cooking: fresh handmade pasta, smart wine pairings, locally sourced food and attention to detail. Owners Alessandro Sbrendola and his wife Alessia offer a dining experience influenced directly from their home regions in Italy: Liguria and Romagna in a gracious and welcoming atmosphere.

the building at 6476 washington street was originally intended to be a very different type of restaurant. while we were designing it we thought we'd experiment by opening a temporary restaurant and calling it ad hoc, which literally means, "for this purpose." the idea for ad hoc was simple - 5 days a week we'd offer a 4 course family style menu that changed each day, accompanied by a small, accessible wine list in a casual setting reminiscent of home. we wanted a place to dine for our community and ourselves. the decision to change over the restaurant, however, was taken out of our hands by our guests. the response was so positive, we simply couldn't close. so, in january 2007, we decided to stay open permanently and now we're serving dinner 5 nights a week as well as sunday brunch.

In everyday French life, it is the Bistro that is woven into the daily patterns of meals and celebrations. The Bistro is that little neighborhood restaurant where they know who you are, greet you warmly, and serve you satisfying foods that change with the seasons and define regional homey French cuisine.
